September 2023

It's Fall, officiallly and maybe its will stop raining for a minute, cool off, and make spending time outdoors bearable for a couple of weeks.

All seasons can be spooky, but as it starts getting darker earlier, it has the potential to be spookier than some of the other seasons. Except maybe for Winter. Fall is a fun spooky. Winter is that go outside and die kind of spooky. At least in the Northeast.

Ok, I'm going to finish reading Yumi and the Nightmare Painter from Brandon Sanderson. I'm going to read Never Whistle at Night - An indigenous dark fiction anthology and maybe something else from my reading or to be read pile.

I have edited a few storys for an anthology I am going to put out. The title is Things Don't End Well because in some of the stories, things don't end well. It was the best title I could think of one afternoon I dedicated a half hour to thinking of titles for the anthology.

Disappearing will come out eventually, but it needs some more love before being released to the world.

On the note of new books being worked on, reach out to me if you'd like to be an advanced reader and want to give some feedback or a quote I may add to the book cover or an inner page like a fancy author.

As for writing, I ran into an idea I came up with a couple of years ago that should make a good short story. I will not plan it out this time. Just going to sit down and write. I can fix it on edit. Maybe.

That's it for September, read something spooky, enjoy the cooler weather if you are North of the Equator, and below is a picture of the wild, full, blue, super moon and clouds from last month. (Pretend you don't see the wires)
