July 2024
Maybe I'll start writing these posts at the beginning of the month to prognosticate and outline what I will do over the upcoming month.
That could be fun.
I read a book, The Galaxy and the Ground Within, wrapping up the Wayfarer series by Becky Chambers, and it was great. So far, all of her books have been great, and now I have to wait for a new one to be published.
I started reading The Once Yellow House by Gemma Amor https://gemmaamorauthor.com/ and the first quarterly Goulish Tales Issue 1 Spring of 2023 https://perpetualpublishing.com/2022/12/17/announcing-ghoulish-tales-a-new-horror-magazine-currently-open-for-submissions/
I added Stephen Graham Jones's new novel Don't Fear the Reaper and Brandon Sanderson's Yumi and the Nightmare Painter to my to-be-read pile. One of these days, I'll put all my to-be-reads together and really see what kind of mess I'm getting myself into.
I watched Asteroid City in the movie theatre. My first movie theatre visit since covid, and it was fun. I might even make it out for the Barbie movie at some point. My daughter says we have to.
I wrote a little more on the short story. It might be halfway to the end unless I rush it, get the main character home, and have them wake up covered in horrors. That could be fun.
When are threads going to let me post through a browser - As soon as that happens, I will leave Twitter or whatever stupid name it is now and type quietly into that void. Or TikTok.

Congress and Aliens... What the fuck
This month's picture I took this evening on my walk. If you look closely, maybe you can see the nonhuman biologic interdimensional beings messing around in the clouds.
